I had a back injury in August 2017. After searching for lawyers I decided on Maurice Blackburn and was given Helen Parker, after our initial phone consultation I was made to feel I had a strong case and it would all be resolved. Fastforward nearly 2 months and we went to conciliation. On the morning of the conciliation I met her and she basically told me I had no case as I had not proven my case enough. She did nothing in that 2 month period to suggest this or to offer any advice on how to put myself in a better position to fight the case. Just a money grabbing organisation who does not care about their clients or the basic ethics of right and wrong.My advice is to avoid Maurice Blackburn, the whole process was terrible and I wouldn't want anybody else to have to go through the pain I have as a result of their negligence.
