beautiful environment, a calming place to study. books here are mostly non-fiction so if you are looking to borrow books, all the novels are in the local libraries
Beautiful library and nice view outside the library with lots of good coffee shop around.The libary has many resources which can be helpful to the public and for students. The staff is professional and helpful. Unfortunately this is not my favorite library nothing against the library or staff I personally find it to be over crowded or too busy not crazy crowded but I just can not focus or relax and enjoy doing whatever I need to do nothing personal it is just me. The libary is in Perfect location close to Northbrtidge , Perth city and Beaufort street.
Nice architectural structure and this is one of the best libraries Ive seen ever. Fantastic location, atmosphere and general place to unwind, study or do some work. Brilliant archive of photos, journals, papers and books. Excellent meeting place and great cafe, shop and little kids area. Staffs are helpful in finding books and magazines.
The State Library of Western Australia is housed in the Alexander Library Building in the Cultural Center of Perth. The building has a contemporary design, and the interior is superb. Free high-speed wifi inside the library. From James or Francis Streets there's wheelchair access to the building. The Library has lifts to every floor, and wheelchair accessible toilets. Male and female toilets on the ground, the first, the second and the third floors. On the ground floor there's a room for parents with babies equipped with a place for nursing mothers and change table. Families and children can visit The Place to relax, share a story or use the computer. And, if you want to sit and chat with friends, the Discovery Lounge is the place to be. ACROD and general car parking is available within the Perth Cultural Center. There are bicycle racks at the front of the building.
Great place to unwind, charge your phone, do some reading. We used it as a more comfortable stopover area than the airport as we had a 12 hour gap between flights. Very nice. Although, dont try to sleep here! Laying down is not allowed!
