Terrible experience! I know it's just opened and if I'd been warned it was still in 'soft opening' stage I would be 100% forgiving. I came hungry expecting to be able to eat... no food on offer. I wanted a pinot noir but the staff didn't know their wines so I had to point her to the right bottle. Overall the staff are untrained and service is awkward. This is not bronze class let alone platinum. Please warn patrons so they know what to expect!
Very bad customer service , never go there. They wont reply to your call even though you call many times and when you would like to get a refund or exchange of timing they wouldnt accept. They are just ripping off your money . If there was the option I would give 0 stars. I have never experienced such a bad service in Hoyts or Event Cinemas.
Honest opinion - don't waste your money when you can have a better cinema experience at Hoyts or Reading Cinemas for less. Our experience there was terrible and some (not all) of the service received was poorly. The cinema itself makes you claustrophobic and is possibly less than half the size of a standard cinema room. To top it all off, we ended up paying for 30mins worth of parking even though our ticket was supposed to be validated for 2hrs. The bar area was a nice touch but it doesn't make up for all the things that are wrong with this place. Book at your own risk.
We went Thursday night on the opening week special for $10 each. Nice bar/candy shop and were able to sit and chill a bit before the movie. The cinema was small which I liked and had reclining seats with decent sized area to put your drink/popcorn.
Dirty toilets, filthy cinema... And then when them movie was meant to start I had to leave so that they could tidy it! I really hope these are teething problems! It has only been open a week.
