There needs to be toilets in the park as it is a long way for little children to walk when they need to go. Al so there 2 different areas for paid parking and free parking on a public holiday. Doesn't make sense. We had a get picnic by the river. Lovely setting.
A really large park in East Perth which is connected to the walkway along the Swan River. A large grassy area on one side and small sandy beaches on the river banks. There is also a walkway that goes along the park from the riverside walkway to Kensington Street.At the Brown Street end of the park there is a carpark, playground and spiral monument. If you head towards the river you also get a nice view of the Optus Stadium across the river.I thought this was one of the larger and nice parks in the area.
Beautiful, relaxed family location. Many happy memories here. Great views, free BBQ units, young kids play area, basketball court, the river, the jetty, all good! Enjoy.

Great place to play with kids. Huge waterfron grass area with shaded playground. It has as well some BBQ facilities.Parking is very close as well. Another great feature is that it is lit at night, what makes it great if your kids go to sleep late.
