Safeway's in Yokine WA. It is located at Dog Swamp. It is easy navigate around and has good prices too. This shopping centre also has lots of lovely shops and cafes.
The store is undergoing renovations/ refurbishment and is a total pain right now. Lots of goods missing completely. Hopefully the store is back to full functionality soon.
A very large supermarket that you would expect to see in the suburbs but located in the heart of Perth city.Large range of grocery products including fresh fruit, vegetables and baked foods. There is always something on special or price reduction. Lots of self service checkouts but they do have a few checkouts with humans to talk to while they do it for you. Not that I have a problem with self service technology but I prefer human interaction more and believe people have the right to work before profits.Bring your own bags as the free plastic bags are now gone. Cost saving or environmental savings? You decide.
Most shop or shopping closed at 6pm, luckily this one close a bit later. The first day we reach Perth, we went for basic groceries shopping. Since most are closed, we had no choice but to go here, place was ok. At least it had the basic groceries that we needed. But Im glad it closed later than the rest.
There are 2 shops in the CBD that offer what I like to purchase on my daily grind. Always clean and the staff are friendly.Amazing job on the recent revamp- the layout, extra self checkouts and wide aisles make life so much easier.
