Amazing vegan diner. I had the Jerusalem Artichoke and Cauliflower Shawarma with a glass of the house pinot grigio. Highly recommended.

Had to rock up just before 6pm on a saturday night to make sure we got a spot without a booking (could see many people get turned away after) but it was worth it! The food was exceptionally good and the staff were attentive. We had some Halloumi, Turkish sausage with pickles, Spanish Mackarel and Hummus with beans etc. Highly recommend it - however it's a little pricey - that being said you get what you pay for.
Been here twice and both times were awesome. Recently had the shoulder of lamb for two with two side dishes. Now at $68 for two people ($34 each) we got two awesome side dishes and a humongous piece of shoulder lamb on the bone. If you try this dont order anything else. Took heaps of meat home in a doggy bag. Great value and fantastic food.
Ive had many pleasant experiences at Bivouac. Its a great place with great food, wine and banter. Very much catering to the inner city crowd, if youre from the suburbs and dont like fine dining this is probably not the place for you. I always recommend the chefs choice if you have a chance. The best dishes you can think of at a real economical price.
