Had heard of, but never been. But booked in for our anniversary.Wow!6 course meal during truffle season. Should have shared as the servings are substantial. Top quality, great service and excellent drink selection. Would highly recommend A++

My husband and I went to a lot of Michelin restaurants in the world and great ones in Aus, this is coming very close to be right up there with Michelin when we are talking about food and an outstanding wine paring, the paring was probably the best we ever had. I gave it 5 stars if it wasn't for the very old decor. It can have a 70s charm but plastic wine leave decor doesn't belong there. If you are looking for a perfect meal and fantastic wine this is the place to be.

I reviewed this restaurant on Trip Advisor years ago and, in the interim, nothing has changed. Friends is consistent in its excellence in every aspect. The wait-staff are particularly impressive in their ability to be very attentive and yet quite unobtrusive. Having been a waitress, I know what a difficult job it is and they make it look easy. Kudos to all the staff for a superb meal and a wonderful evening.

Wonderful venue - great staff, attentive but not overwhelming. Food was stunningly served& cooked perfectly. Flavours, textures, colour all considered and blended in a potpourri of bliss. Would have no hesitation in recommending & going again.Thank you.

We booked for lunch when we saw there was pheasant and partridge on the menu which is so rare to find here.We werent disappointed, both were beautifully cooked and presented.The waiting staff and manager/owner were very attentive without being intrusive.A great experience, thank you.
